Benefactor John Ryan left money in his will for the renovations in the chapel as the sisters prepared for the centennial of their arrival in America in 1836. The gift was used to replace the original windows with lovely blue toned windows in place today. The symbol here represents “Seat of Wisdom” one of the titles given to Mary.
