This communion railing was made by Schrader and Conradi, a St. Louis firm. Made of Italian marble, it was installed in Holy Family Chapel in 1899. At that time, it cost $2500 and was donated by Louise Sauer. When the Chapel was renovated in 1999, the railing was re-positioned: one section in front of each of the 2 side altars and 2 sections at the top of the stairs leading to the sanctuary.
